Resilient Microgrids Workshop

Join Energize Langley for our final community workshop to hear the results of the Feasibility Studies! This project is being led by local environmental leaders from Kicking Gas and Site Story, who are managing outreach and community engagement. Engineering expertise is being provided by Cascadia Renewables and Maul Foster & Alongi. Together, this team is working with the City to evaluate potential community sites that could serve as “resilience hubs”—locations that provide critical services powered by on-site solar and battery storage during outages, such as:

• Access to clean water and wastewater systems

• Communications and internet connectivity

• Safe, powered spaces to gather, charge devices, and stay warm or cool
