Since its founding, Kicking Gas has been making great progress on its mission to electrify the homes and businesses of the Puget Sound area.
To date, we have awarded over 400 projects and we’re thrilled to announce that we now have more capacity in our funding program for projects in Island and Snohomish County!

What is Kicking Gas?
Kicking Gas is a grassroots Whidbey Island-based climate justice organization that works to make home electrification measures accessible and affordable to those who need them in the Puget Sound area.
Our work also raises public awareness around the significant climate and public health impacts of fossil fuel and wood combustion in our homes, bodies, and communities.
